Dear friends,

Let me take a few minutes to introduce myself. I am Brad Geary, and I have had the privilege tobe the pastor of Oregon Baptist Church since June 2021. I am originally from a small town inSouthern Illinois, where the rest of my family still reside. I am married to Carlen Geary, who is more than a wife. She has been a constant source of strength and without her love and support I would not be where I am today. Carlen works as a PCT at Regional Hospital and has been in the health care field for more than 25 years. We have four children, Taylor Hinkle (25) and her husband Dakota, Caleb Geary (22) and his wife Jamie, Tyler Geary (19), and Joshua Geary (18). We also have two grandsons, Jude and Kade Hinkle (4 and 2), who we absolutely adore. Family is very important to me.

I graduated in May 2023 from Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri with my
Master of Divinity. I have been pastoring for 8 years and was a youth pastor prior to becoming a full-time pastor. I have been in ministry for more than 10 years. An important thing to know about me is other than my love for the Lord, and my family, I love sports. I enjoy mainly fishing and golf, though I am not very good at either. I am a huge Kentucky Wildcat basketball, St. Louis Cardinals, and L.A. Rams football fan. My wife and myself enjoy bowling and the awesome fellowship we get from the church league bowling team.
